2007 ARTS AND LEADERSHIP AWARD
Suzanne Logan will receive the
3rd annual
Arts and Leadership Award
The Arts & Leadership Award was established in 2006 by the Art of July Committee to honor a member of the community for their combined dedication to the advancement of the arts and support of local non-profit, charitable organizations.
This year we are thrilled to honor Suzanne Logan for her immense contribution to the worlds of design and charity. Suzanne is a true leader in the community and a selfless supporter to numerous worthy organizations. She gives enormous amounts of energy to everything she does and leads the way with her creativity, insight, and enthusiasm.
A sustaining member of the Junior League of Boston, Suzanne's history of charitable involvement is extensive. She has chaired the VIP reception for Share our Strength's event, Taste of the Nation, in Boston. She has served as an events committee member for the Big Sister Association and served on the executive committee of the MFA Council, co-chairing their Council Gala. She was the Vice-Chair for the Brookline Council for the Arts and Humanities and has sat on the Board of Directors for the Northern California National Kidney Foundation.
Today, Suzanne is intimately involved with the Institute of Contemporary Art where she is the Event Chair for The New Group and she sits on their Executive and Steering Committees.
A humanitarian and an entrepreneur, Suzanne founded Spaces Design Studios, a full-service interior design firm handling residential and commercial design projects. Still she finds time for giving back to the community. Recently Suzanne designed and donated furnishing for a room as part of the Adopt a Room program for Project Place, a non-profit that helps homeless individuals.
Art of July is honored to recognize Suzanne Logan for her tireless philanthropic commitments to the arts and human services. Please join us in congratulating her at our annual event on May 2 at the Omni Parker House. Please visit our web site at www.artofjuly.com for more information.
